Here is how to install this Electronics, Medicine, Law, and Marketing link-exchange directory:
1) First, click on the following link to download the_files.zip.
2) Unzip the_files.zip. It contains 2 files: othersites.php and logonlinks.php. (7-zip does a great job of zipping and unzipping. You can download it from http://www.7-zip.org.)
You may add your own headers and footers by editing othersites.php.
3) Upload both othersites.php and logonlinks.php to your website hosting account. Put them both together in the website directory (folder) of your choice.
Alternatively, you can go to you hosting account and create the empty files othersites.php and logonlinks.php.
Then click on this link http://freepgs.com/ledbetter/wordpress/othersites.txt. The text will display in your browser. Copy the text to your new othersites.php file.
Similarly, click on http://freepgs.com/ledbetter/wordpress/logonlinks.txt. The text will display in your browser. Copy the text to your new logonlinks.php file.
4) Now you need to add a link to YOUR new othersites.php link directory page from your homepage. You must add your othersites.php link to your homepage so that the other members' links can be viewed/accessed. We should be able to see a link called othersites on your homepage.

And here is how you can list the sites that recently sent surfers to your site. All you have to do is put this one line of JavaScript on your webpage (or template):
<script language="Javascript" src="http://ledbetter.freepgs.com/referrers.js"></script>
When someone clicks on a link to your site, the page that hosts that link will appear in the list. (But self-referral links from within your OWN site are usually ignored.) Here is an example of the output:
