When Will The Internet Grow Up?
I recently replied to a rather underdeveloped advertising network, a network that appears to recruit and underpay gullible teenagers. I said, "Thanks. I had already decided that your advertisers do not pay enough. Take a look at newspapers and magazines. They have ads on the vast majority of their pages and their advertisers pay a hell of a lot for space. The Internet is still a bit of a joke I'd say. And as far as the advertising on my site goes -- one my stated purposes is to evaluate and recommend affiliate programs and advertisers. People come to my site looking for advertising and affiliate opportunities."
The advertising network in question had written me to say
Our advertisers do not like blogs which are filled with advertisements and/or links on the vast majority of posts. You have a great blog and a good page ranking, but it's not in line with what our advertiser's are seeking.Tweet This: Send Page to Twitter
